glad to see you got to go to italy on a art adventure i was there many times years ago and fell in love with the whole feeling of art food and life styles i could not see pompeii enough!! it was a trip to the past sooo moving if i was rich haha? i,d have a villa there instead of here in the woods of oregon

That adventure stays with me all of the time. I hope to go back, I agree if I was rich I would be back there in a heartbeat.

Awesome abstract Iam trying to work on some abstract paintings they are not easy to do-love this.

actually I think it is nothing like Rothko, Rothko is very much a superficial interpretation of this work. While Rothko’s work has much pathos and monulmentality, and a dark ground with often isolated colour feilds layered on top, this instead to me is about joy and light, it raditates light, and is very much your own work Susan. I love it.

I keep going back into your works, Susan, and always find something else in them. They exude a beautiful energy , much as I experience looking at Rothko.

much of your work looks like the the sky and landscapes I see while flying,...... which means I am quite possibly wasting petrol !
