Forgive and You Shall Be Forgiven / Let the Dagger Melt into Diamonds

In the act of forgiveness, the victim finds healing. The weapon meant for harm melts into a true reward.

The torso is realistic because it represents the viewer as a real person.

The wound, dagger and diamonds are stylized because they represent more than physical wounds. Our wounds are emotional, spiritual, even psychological.

Forgiving the antagonist causes the dagger to melt. The diamonds are a depiction of spiritual reward gained through forgiving our antagonist. Where the diamonds fall, the wound is healing.

Finally, the wound gap is bigger than seems appropriate for the size of the dagger. We often increase the wounds we receive by dwelling on pain or anger or vengeance.
