What a tender moment! I’m so glad you did this in black and white because it helps focus attention on the beautiful concept of brotherliness. Sweet beyond words to express. This is the second time in the last few days that Neil Diamond’s song comes humming back into my memory, “He ain’t heavy; he’s my brother.” (See the journal entry I wrote by the same title if you have a chance.) This is a priceless portrait, Susan.

Hi Susan – this photo really struck a cord with me in my heart – to see your two boys so peacefully sleeping in such a protective pose with each other is just incredible – you have two beautiful boys and this photo clearly shows their love for each other (although I bet when they are awake it is alittle less peacefully displayed :)
On a more technical level I just love the way one is so dark and the other so fair – opposites attract so to speak – thank you for sharing this precious moment in time!!
