Spirit Dreaming by Susan Bergstrom

Canvas Prints

Size:
$66.87
Available to buy on…

This is a Huge Canvas… 40"X42"…
I was either going to gesso-it (a refined liquid plaster artists use to prime raw canvas or paint over exisiting work, LOL)…
Didn’t know if I should re-use the canvas or put it back on the easel and see what I might be able to do to salvage.

It is called Spring Cleaning in the Studio …I do this twice a year… go through all of my work and see what gets wiped-out or a reprieve!
For now this piece got a stay of execution!

This piece is an Acrylic /Oil wash on stretched canvas.
My fine art and photography studio is located in Mesquite, Nevada.

I enjoy a full time career as a working Fine Art Artist and Natural Lifestyle Photographer.
To me, my art and photography is the best way to express what I see around me.
I also teach both mediums and I host 3 and 4 day Art and Photography Workshop Retreats through my private studio on my desert property in Nevada/Arizona.
I formed Elbow Canyon Fine Art & Photography Retreats several years ago to offer my students a unique one-on-one instruction.

Salvage it??? no way the colors are awesome and the details aer excellent, If any thing just needs a little work on the sky – nice heavy white clouds would work, then you would not have to show sunlight and shadows but would have an interesting color contrast. Listen to me telling you how to paint☺☺ I really like it like it is. Don’t paint over this MTII I will knuckle you head ☺

  • LOLOLOL…. well for now it is in the safe zone..! In realife the clouds are quite detailed but I just could not get a good capture of it…no matter what I did, it is a giant canvas and day or night I just get a good shot…and I thank you for your opinion MT1… sometimes when the student is ready the teacher appears!

Ms B this is absolutely gorgeous. One I think you should be saving. DOnt remember seeing him when I was at your place but it is an amazing piece of work. xo

  • Thanks! It was in the back porch storage room at the little house…the problem with huge paintings is where do you put them if you don’t have wall space! It is safe for awhile!(;0)
