A Place In The Sun by Susan Bergstrom

This is Skinny…many of you have followed his story of rescue and recovery over the past few months… as up-dates go, Skinny is doing well, has learned how to just be a dog… and has been accepted into the pack.
He has claimed this spot by the back door where every morning he lays in the sun..he knows my camera is always at hand and woke up long enough from his nap for a new capture.
Still no smiles…he is a serious little guy, most of the time but that’s okay…he is alive and well and has settled into a life here with us that is safe and full of love.
There is plenty of time to work on smiles…

I enjoy a full time career as a working Fine Art Artist and Natural Lifestyle Photographer.
To me, my art and photography is the best way to express what I see around me.
I also teach both mediums and I host 3 and 4 day Art and Photography Workshop Retreats through my private studio on my desert property in Nevada/Arizona.
I formed Elbow Canyon Fine Art & Photography Retreats several years ago to offer my students a unique one-on-one instruction.
Thanks for viewing my work

what a wonderful place to be……in the sun……..lil bit has such a good home and lots of love….the smiles will come in time….bless you, susan….this is a beautiful portrait of him…..thanks for keeping us posted…i think about him from time to time…

  • Yes, in time …in time, the smiles will come…it is just good to see him enter his days with a calm, secure attitude…he does have his clown moments but of course you could never get a capture as it is so fleeting…but at least they are there! Thanks my friend…how is the weather? Russ has to head back to Colorado this next thursday…he is not looking forward to the cold!!!
