I know many of you will be scratching your head with the title of this capture…this is what was ALWAYS said to me when my Grandmother would hand me a NEHI soda drink….I have NO IDEA why! LOL
I title my captures with the first thing that pops into my mind…and alI I could hear was my Grandmother when I turned and saw this collection of bottles in our local Nevada Territory Museum…

I enjoy a full time career as a working Fine Art Artist and Natural Lifestyle Photographer.
To me, my art and photography is the best way to express what I see around me.
I also teach both mediums and I host 3 and 4 day Art and Photography Workshop Retreats through my private studio on my desert property in Nevada/Arizona.
I formed Elbow Canyon Fine Art & Photography Retreats several years ago to offer my students a unique one-on-one instruction.
Thanks for viewing my work

Nehi grape, Nehi orange were great drinks back in the day. Knee High to a grasshopper was a phrase for small people. Thanks for the memories.

    Marvelous!!

The complete phrase is “Since I was knee high to a grasshopper.” (ie, very small). My parents and grandparents sometimes used the phrase. I don’t know the origin of it.

  • LOL…I remember it soo vividly (sp)…and I just always associated this drink with grasshoppers…how wierd is that!!! Thanks Arla!
