My Human Female told me I needed to let all of you know that I am not hiding anymore!
I still like to be covered up…I guess it makes me feel warm and safe. I’ll pop my head out though… if I here is a loud noise or if others in our pack start to bark.
Now that I know this is my home and I am safe…I am learning how to play with the other dogs in our pack…I race through the house like I am a race dog! …and I lay in the middle of the room…just like all the other dogs and chew on my treats.
I heard my humans’ say it is confidence and trust…but I don’t know what that means…I just know I walk with my tail up now…
I have a little problem when a human comes and knocks on the door to our den…my human female says I “blow a gasket”…I don’t know what that means either.
She just tells me to go lay down and that everything is okay.
I don’t always listen because I just love to bark and tell those stange humans that THIS IS MY HOUSE!!!
I don’t kill chipmunks and lizards anymore…my human’s feed me really yummy food for dogs and my male human always has treats for me. He can still scare me sometimes…he is a giant and sometimes he just stands up and I blow that gasket again…but we are working on that.
So I just wanted to let you know that I am a really good dog these days. I love my humans… they talk to me in soft voices, they teach me how to play and we go on walks.
I am a much happier Taco Dog (I don’t know what that means either!)
Thanks for reading more of my story…
