The simplicity of objects is what stikes me the most as I walk around taking pictures.
The sun coming through the window, the old fashioned checkered curtain…the solid hand made mixing bowl.
In this technical age of chrome and high definition..these simple objects spoke volumes.

I enjoy a full time career as a working Fine Art Artist and Natural Lifestyle Photographer.
To me, my art and photography is the best way to express what I see around me.
I also teach both mediums and I host 2 and 3 day Art and Photography Retreats through my private studio on my desert property in Nevada.
I formed Elbow Canyon Fine Art & Photography Retreats several years ago to offer my students a unique one-on-one instruction.

Love this Susan, it reminds me of when I was little and we would all have breakfast together in the “breakfast room” (do people actually have those anymore?)….amazing, this simple scene has evoked so many memories in me!!

Very nostalgic, Susan. My Mom use to crochet doillies like the one under the bowl and checkered red and white curtains were the in thing. I love scenes like this too. So homey, warm and comfortable.
