Eyes Not Trusting, Portrait Of A Native American Child by

Found myself at a Team Roping Event this weekend…this is an excellent opportunity to be with the Native People, their familys, their horses and their traditions. Highly competive with cowboys and cowgirls of all ethnic backgrounds showing up to try and claim the top prize. But the Native American arrives en-mass as this is their time to shine with their unrivaled horsemanship.
Between the horses, the cowboys and all the action…this time the Native Children caught my eye. If not for the modern clothes…to me, this little girl could have been a child from a hundred years ago… with her classic pensive look.

I enjoy a full time career as a working Fine Art Artist and Natural Lifestyle Photographer.
To me, my art and photography is the best way to express what I see around me.
I also teach both mediums and I host 3 and 4 day Art and Photography Workshop Retreats through my private studio on my desert property in Nevada/Arizona.
I formed Elbow Canyon Fine Art & Photography Retreats several years ago to offer my students a unique one-on-one instruction.
