My son and I go for our morning walks… you would be surprised at what we find out here in the desert…this old guy left to rust in the desert was just calling out to have his picture taken!

I enjoy a full time career as a working Fine Art Artist and Natural Lifestyle Photographer.
To me, my art and photography is the best way to express what I see around me.
I also teach both mediums and I host 2 and 3 day Art and Photography Retreats through my private studio on my desert property in Nevada.
I formed Elbow Canyon Fine Art & Photography Retreats several years ago to offer my students a unique one-on-one instruction.

LOL! It doesn’t need any help, Susan! But my husband can’t take the heat, and we’re up in the wet side of Washington State. I’d rather keep him and stay here, if you know what I mean! I grew up in the Colorado Desert (southern California), and then as an adult, I claim from the middle down to the south-west end of Nevada as “my” Desert. Been to the AZ Desert, too, and it’s lovely.
Well I spent over 35 years in the Colorado Rockies and moved to the desert around 7 years ago…and I shall never leave! I love it, scorpions and all!!!
