Supplies Till Spring by Susan Bergstrom
Clear

Painted years ago, but one of my first paintings that started my artistic journey into Cowboy Art.
Living most of my life in the Northern Colorado Rockies and a great deal of the time in a small mountain community, you just might catch this scene in the winter.
The mountain men and women would ride into the village, stock up and with a quick cup of coffee at the local cafe… say their howdy’s and then fade back into the mountains until Spring.

Oil painting
Thanks for viewing my work.

I enjoy a full time career as a working Fine Art Artist and Natural Lifestyle Photographer.
To me, my art and photography is the best way to express what I see around me.
I also teach both mediums and I host 3 and 4 day Art and Photography Workshop Retreats through my private studio on my desert property in Nevada/Arizona.
I formed Elbow Canyon Fine Art & Photography Retreats several years ago to offer my students a unique one-on-one instruction.

Marvelous painting, Susan. It’s difficult to imagine the hardships men and women suffered, only 150 years ago in the west. Your distant trees and fade is beautiful. I am thinking, poor horse, with all of that weight.

  • Thanks Frannie… The mountain people of the little village I lived in are still there to this day and if you are lucky you can still see these solitary folks living pretty much the same way.

Hey, I like your new “brand” (smB, in this serif style).

  • LOL… I usually use Creative Kit through Picasa but it was down the day I was making ready this piece… They have such cool fonts… had to settle for the standard but it came out okay, Thanks!
