Another addition to my Native American Woman Series…Mariah.
I return again and again to these ladies…with luck I try and capture the history, the dignity and pride of this culture…of course with my artist creative license.
I have also included the drawing I do with each painting…drawing is my first passion and again if the Muses are with me I can evolve it into a painting.
This piece is painted on Gallery Wrapped artist portrait canvas. It is a mixed media of acrylic and oil paint and is 20”x24 in size.

I swear to God that I saw this girl in the parking lot at the grocery store and the drawing is on the back of a piece of paper I scrambled to find in my car…she was just standing talking with her friends, the wind was up a little and she was just a vision! Came home and refined the drawing and prayed that the hands would behave and allow me to transform my speed drawing into a painting…I thank you for the glowing comments, Between you and Hidemi…I value your inspection my friend…BTW..what a dramatic, stud muffin avatar!!! LOL…
