Conducted a Graphite Drawing lesson for everyone today in class…sometimes I even forget the simple beauty of just the pencil…
Naturally, I go to my love of the endless shapes, curves,and shadows in the faces of the Native American People.
This is a graphite drawing, using a #2 pencil and drawn on card stock, bonded, low tooth, acid free artist drawing paper.

    Many thanks Lori…are you buried in snow?...Russ is at the cabin up the Big Thompson Canyon and he has over 3 feet..he is ready to come back to the desert!

    Yes, we got about 6 inches and it is icy under the snow. It is also very cold. I remember Thompson Canyon from one of those storm stories on the weather channel. There was a terrible flood there about 20 years ago. I think we are going to have aterrible winter. xo
