Way Out West
My first love is the painting of horses…this is another vintage piece ( painted at least 25 years ago)... that I discovered on a visit during my trip back to Colorado.
Again the photography does not do the art any justice but it is still fun for me to see these old works have a second life as I add to my collection here at RB.
When we had our ranch in Colorado, I would sit out in our pasture, in my lawn chair and sketch our horses…I’d wait until they were far away and then I would rattle the Sweet-Mix bucket…then photograph and sketch them running to me!
This piece is painted with oil on self stretched artist linen canvas and is 24”X 28” unframed.

Yes but sadly I do not have the patience for painting much anymore…no demand, so many artists and my pastels and pencils and camera seem to satisfy me for now!
