I Miss You...

I Miss You...

This is Johnnie…Yes even while sitting for hours and hours in the surgical waiting room, I will find things to take pictures of…

Anyway Johnnie’s master was having some pretty serious heart surgery and the wife brought him to the hospital and got special permission for Johnnie to see his human best friend when he woke up in the recovery room. He sat in his canvas carrier in a chair for as many hours as the rest of us and never made a sound.

It was like Johnnie knew that this was a pretty serious time and I could only watch him for just so long and had to ask if I could take his picture.
As it turned out, his human best friend came through the surgery with flying colors… was able to see his wife and Johnnie when he woke up and I guess there was not a dry eye in the whole of the recovery room.

Thanks for viewing my photography.

we are only beginning to understand the depths of attachment and love in animals. I suspect it is because we are only beginning to accept the breadth of love in ourselves. beautiful story and wonderful image, Susan.
