I have no formal training in either art or photography, and so am reluctant to discuss style. But having said that, I will go on to say that you seem to have a truly unique and versatile style all your own. Not quite Wyeth photo-realism, nor poster art, I can’t put my finger on it. I think this is an exquisite drawing, and I’m guessing the hardest thing was to decide when it was “done”, and to walk away. I see restraint and subtlety here. In other works I see boldness. In all I see imagination, creativity, and an awesome sense of color and form. There is so much of your work I love, I will have to go through it slowly, but consistently.

Beautiful work. I first saw this in your susan’sgallery but couldn’t leave a comment, so just had to find it here and say ‘I love it’...! Just a cool character actor and you’ve captured his simplicity beautifully in the image. I particularly like how the background texture becomes ‘his’ texture.
