Truly a mind stopper! Free or guardian angel perception is key I think. Without going into the religious aspects of this because I won’t. I feel like this can be applied to all of us at most times. We labor in one way or other with our wants in life and living. Be they good or bad wants we want! Carry we do our leftover baggage unfortunately but looking at this one has to wonder how easy it would be just to let go…. I think we live our charades and mindlessness sometimes just to see what we can get away with:)) Who is watching or who is listening. This one took flight, sorry:)x

  • Thank you very much, Donna. You seem to be seeing more than I’ve depicted :-)
You’re absolutely right, primarily the Latin word ‘tutelarius’ , as a guardian or protector was beyond any religious aspects. If I’m not mistaken I had a picture entitled “Guardian Angel” or something like that, so it’s just another one :-)

Powerful …. speaks of something at the core of us. The way you’ve chosen to depict this ….. very strong.

  • Thanks a lot, Alenka. It was one of the first experiments with acrylics.

It cuts deep, to the memory of when my guardian angel let me go.

  • it is good you’ve found a personal aspect in this work for yourself, isn’t it?

    Sergei~~
This is about so much MORE than the buttons…there are sooooooo many stories I could make up about this work.
And perhaps, I shall. We’ll see.
    More than buttons, for sure.
    Peace,
    sass
