Dramatic work Sergei. It’s as if the Matador is showing the poor bull what his future will hold. The blood just doesn’t seem to be positioned right for it to have fallen from the animal even though there are spears in his back. This should have been named The Compassionate Matador. I am sure I am off but it is just how it appears to me. Hope your well this morning. :)xx
Thank you very much, Donna. I like the way you see it, and it doesn’t matter how off you are, your interpretation is yours and it’s very interesting. If I remember right, it wasn’t more than a wish to make it as the whole inseparable spill of blood as a one common fate for two. Let’s say it was a draftsman’s vision
