This reminds me of the Vampire Chronicles. Nicki has his hands cut off to keep him from playing his Stradivarius in his cell. This feels like it could also have been the tragic story of the depth of passion too but then I am often too much of a romantic so I would feel that. The story I am referring to is actually about exactly that.

  • Thank you, Donna.
Sorry, if the work is beyond vampires and your feeling of romance :-). It’s about love

His music is not enough for her, it seems. Or she doesn’t like it or likes it too much. A dark tragedy of love here, I think.

  • Thanks a lot, Alenka. Besides ‘a dark tragedy of love’, there are also the first signs of the future ‘agape’ theme, I guess. Just for information – Shashlik
