This feels like salvation to me. You walk through life falling into the unpleasant pits that open up from time to time and sinking into a pool of despair and thankfully there is always an angel that appears from our cry within that is being answered, always Sergei, there is salvation. Love this very well done work of art that will inspire many to just keep seeing the beauty in living. xoxoxo
“…there are no atheists in war…”Thank you, Donna, I wish I’d have your hope for salvation
I love to share. You may have mine because these things are not a gift until you give it away my friend. xo
Incradable work, so many ideas and ways you can think about it. I see war….mortally wounded soldier….his soul is looking for ansvers…. Sergei, chem vi delaete belie aktsenti na temnom fone? Ya pitalsa belim karandashem no ne poluchilos….dumal ispolzoval pastelnie melki.
Thank you, VitaliyThe war theme has been more or less constantly presented in my artworks through all the time. It keeps bothering me
emotional transfiguration of art and invention from one deep mind set
thank you very much
On one side, the “jackal” – on the other, the despairing angel – in the center, the victim of yet another heinous act of War. She was evidently caught (through no fault of hers) in the maelstrom.. the on-going confrontation of Evil vs. Good. This as always, is a powerful and thought-provoking work! Well done, Sergei!
Thank you, Nadya.I found an exclusively deep-minded personality in you. Whenever we speak of Good vs. Evil confrontation, I try to keep away from Black and White the conflict, it’s not as simple and plain, in my mind
La ringrazio molto, Margherita

War, it seems, is our nature, as much as love. It’s love that makes the soldier willing to sacrifice his life. Such a strong image. I love the angel, whatever she may be. Perhaps she is death itself, the release from suffering.
Thank you very much, Alenka. This angel of mercy has some Russian flavor here – mythological creature with the head and chest of a beautiful woman and the body of a bird, in fact, there are three of them with symbolizing different metaphors.
