The Vision Of The Four Beasts Bear

Medium : Pen and Ink on Bristol Board
Size : 11” x 15 “
Year completed : 1987

This rendering is part of a collection of illustration I did for a professor, who taught a class on the books of Daniel / Revelation, the course was about prophecy of the end of the world. The professor used these illustration in his teach materials.
The vision of the four beats was given to the prophet Daniel by God , to reveal the 4 different monarchies that will rise and fall, that will have rule over the civilized world throughout the history of man kind.

The bear represents The Persian monarchy .

Daniel chapter 7 : 5
” And behold, another beast , a second one, resembling a bear. And it was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in it”s mouth between it”s teeth ;
and thus they said to it, ’ Arise , devour much meat !’

    Webbie,

    It is a great encouragement, and comfort, to have a sister in the faith who share the same desire to proclaim the gospel through the God given gift of art. We as brother and sister in the Lord should encourage one another in the faith, as well to spurn each other on to do the will of God.
    If you need prayer , you can email me, and I will lift you up in prayer.

    You know some people think I have more talent at Pen and Ink , then I do at painting.
    What do you think.
