Thou Shall Not Steal

Size : 12” x 14” Medium : Ball Point pen on copy machine paper
year completed : 1997

This black and white rendering was done at work , I worked on it on my breaks.
I used a ball point pen, and drew it on copy machine paper. I thought it would bright everyone’s day if I shared this cartoon with them.
I came up with this concept , from a memory of the family cat fishing around my sister’s fish ball try to land himself a afternoon snack.

Thou Shall Not Steal belongs to the following groups:

Complex Simplicity of Art, All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Around The World, AW Welcome Center, Bubblettes, Current Issues, DaDa Land, Designers United, End Times, Everyday Life, Fine Arts, Globes, Spheres and Curves - 2 per day, Live, Love, Dream: , Living Christianity, Masterpieces: Literary Workshop, Safe Haven, Something Fishy, Something To Say, Spiritual Art, The Healing Journey and The Patchwork

haha, this is great stephen, love the details like the warning note, your very good at the cartooning, bringing the scriptures to light through humour

    Matthew,

I am glad You got a chuckle out of this cartoon. A lot of people who know me, know that I am a person who likes to be humorous , some even think I could make a living in show business.
But some how people who make a living in this field try to start out clean, but some how always manage to soil their act eventually .
And once you go down that road, one ability to present the teachings of the Bible , would not be receive by those who are Entertained by humor that is off color.
So I think my humor is a great gift to use to brighten up someone dull, or gray day.
