The Vision Of The Four Beast Lion

The Vision Of The Four Beast Lion

Medium : Pen and Ink.

Size : 11” X 15 “

Year completed : 1987

This rendering is part of a group of illustrations that were done for a collage professor who was teaching a course on Daniel / Revelation at a Bible collage I attended. These illustrations depict the four beast that were part of a vision that Daniel the prophet had. Daniel asked God to make the interpretation of the dream known to him , for he knew God was the author of this dream.
The four beast are four different monarchies that shall have world domination, that will rise and fall through out the history of the world.
The lion is the first beast to appear in the vision, This beast represents the Chaldean empire.

Daniel chapter 7 : 4
” The first was like a lion and had the wings of an eagle. I kept looking until
it ’s wings were plucked , and it was lifted up from the ground and made to
stand on two feet like a man ; a human mind also was given to it.

Good work Stephen. It is inspiring to see an artistic interpretation of the amazing things described in Scripture, God’s creation far exceeds our imaginations. I enjoyed reading your writing which goes with this work -well done. I hope you are well, my brother.

    Estelle,

It is a pleasure to hear from you, How has your studies been coming along ? What subject have you been investigating ?
Over the weekend I posted my last lesson of Jesus The Bridge To Heaven, On Diviant Art . com. I just joined GFX artist community, and received my first critique, which was a good one. So now you can see my work on four art communities . I have a fifth, but I have to figue how to operate it. A lot of these online art sites are difficult to learn how to load up one’s work . It took my all Sunday to figure out how to load one piece work on GFX site.
Sometime during the winter, I am going on the hunt for writers communities, so I can reach more people with my writtings. So as you can see this is a secound full time job.
Please pray that God will open up the door to me to make more money , but not to have to work a second job. I thing one full time job is enough, I don’t want to go through life having to give up my ministry, so I can work evey waken hour, to just stop long enough to eat, and sleep. I want evey Christ to make time to use their spiritual gifts to reach the world for Christ.
Here is a list of sites I am on now.

I hope you will keep me in your prayer, and if you need some one across the pound to pray for you, I am the one who will hold you up.

My studies are coming along well, thanks. I have just finished my Diploma of Professional Counselling, which I hope to be able to help many people with. I had done counselling in my ministry training (I am credentialled as an Associate Minister with Reach Out for Christ International) but I wanted to do some more training to reach people outside the church. I start my bachelor of Art next week, my first two subjects are Introduction to Visual Culture and Printmaking.

I agree with you, we must use our time and any talent God has given us to try to share the Good News with as many as will listen. I will pray for your finances, brother. I know God supplies all our needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.

I know what you mean about trying to figure out how to operate the sites. I joined Wetcanvas, which is a very good site, but a bit beyond my computer ability, so I don’t visit it very often. I tried to figure out how to make a teeshirt design on rb of one of my paintings, but after a whole afternoon of frustration, I decided it wasn’t worth it! Thank you also for your prayers, I appreciate very much that you take the time to uphold me in prayer. I will check out your other sites soon. Blessings to you….Estelle
