The Hand Of Fellowship
Medium : Pen and Ink on Bristol Board
Size : 11” x 15”
Year of completion : 1987
This rendering is part of a group of illustrations i did for a pamphlet that was published by a Christian ministry that reach out with the Gospel of Christ to the military service personnel , stationed at a near by military base.
The avenue they used to share the gospel with the military is hospitality.
I thought this rendering of a ranch hand, shaking hands with a soldier was the best visual subject for the cover, because it represents the hand of fellowship.

Hello Stephen
This is a really good drawing and I love the theme of extending the hand of fellowship. I have been studyig lately so haven’t made a lot fo comments. I hope I haven’t missed too much of your work. I have been praying for you, my brother.

Estelle,
It is good to hear from you. I am glad that the reason i haven’t heard from you is because you are studying, and not because things are going bad for you. I am glad you are praying for me, because, I believe the Devil is trying to destroy me at work. This has alway been his playing feild. I can take comfort in knowing God has the Devil on a leash.
If you need any prayer, let me know I will hold you up.
