I read most of what is submitted to the group I moderate including your works. I do value what you are sharing. Just have changed the group to keep what is accepted to a bare minimum. Think that your passion is enormous and that more of us should take your lead and go deeper inside for inspiration.

This is wonderful work Stephen. I have just seen some great DVD’s this week on the universe and stars and the human body and how incredibly complex God has made everything and how everything that was made was made through Jesus Christ. The symbol of the Cross is in the furthest galaxy (seen in photographs taken by the Hubbel space telescope and beamed back to Earth) and the shape of the Cross is in the Laminin molecule which holds human bodies together. Truly wonderous! I have been away for a few days so may have missed some of your Bible studies – I will go back and check. Blessings to you my brother.

with all due respect, the “Biblical acount of a six literal day creation by the holy trinity” is not the only alternative to the evolutionary model. at least “design theory” advocates realise that. what about all of the thousands of other creation stories out there? what makes yours worthy of being taught and not others? surely schools should teach all of these theories in order to truly “let the student decide which is trueth for themselves”.

secondly, the theory of evolution is not a theory in the general use of the word (ie a guess), but a theory in the scientific usage. a scientific theory is, “a logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena. It originates from or is supported by rigorous observations in the natural world, or by experimental evidence” (wikipedia).

to describe the genesis story and evolution as theories with equal merit is misleading. one is supported by reams of evidence. the other is not and is essentually just a guess of expression of faith. it is a teacher’s duty to point this out before letting “the student decide which is trueth for themselves”. would a teacher present the theory of gravity as equal with the flying spaghetti monster’s theory of “intelligent falling” and then allow students to make up their own minds? I think one of the biggest misconceptions about Christians is, that we don’t believe in science, we just blindly believe the Bible, and encore science. The truth is that many christian believe in science, and that God gave man this knowledge, we just do not believe in some of the theory , secular scientist try to build , about the origins of mater or living thing, by what they dig out of the earth.
Be cause a scientist believe in the creation account from the book of Geniuses, can take the same artifact that was dug out of the ground, and build a theory using it, to prove God created all mater, and living things.
Science is not the only area of studies that secularist and christian debate about, history is another battle field of debate,here in the united states. Secularist historian are try to rewrite The united States history by claiming that the founding father of this country did not build the law on the nation on biblical concepts, and that most founding father were Deists, If this was so, why has the secular organization A.C.L .U. fault in law courts to have the following list of practices illegal ,prayer in school, removing the sentence ” One Nation under God ,” from the pledge of allegiance , Remove the slogan from our money, ” In God We Trust ” , The ten command must be removed from court houses, any bible quotes must be removed from buildings, and monuments,nativity seance are not allow to be displayed on public property.
If you go to my gallery , and click on my Pen and Ink rending of a church, you can view a little debate between me and another person who is on Redbubble, The debate is about if George Washington, the first president of the United States, was a Christian?
Even though George Washington’s Granddaughter, who live with the Washingtons for twenty years,as a adopted child, testified that Washington belong to two christian churches, had his own pew in front of the pulpit, in both churches, He also was a main contributor, and on the building program comity of one of the churches. His granddaughter stated that it would be heresy , and un-American to suggest That George Washington was not a christian.
What does this all mean, it mean that the United States is quickly becoming a secular , socialist, Nation , that no long up hold it’s original constitution, that freedom and liberty was founded on.
