This vector artwork is a discovery and realisation of two things; physical hunger and thirst, and spiritual hunger and thirst. I wanted to tackle the issue of two extremes through the themes of drought, multi-culturalism and lonliness.

The brown sepia tones are over-powering to almost force the viewer to realise this for themselves. The visuals through its figurative body language and symbolism stretch far and wide to allow the audience to interact with the piece.

He thirst’s…
He thirst’s…
Not for water.
But for our return.

SUPERB. would make a fab poster.

  • It hasn’t even been up for half a day and already some over-whelming responses. I actually wanted to see how it went. But you along with others have made me re-consider. The artwork is now for sale. Thanks for the comment MT. Means alot.
