My Thought for the Day....
Today the headlines scream that Michael was murdered. (sigh.)
I always thought he was killed, but not in the everyday sense of the word “murder”. Is there such a thing as “legal murder” – maybe we need to think about this and at a deeper level, question why he died. And for that matter, Heath Ledger, and the list of others before them.
Every day, ordinary people die from drug related causes and the media publish and condemn the use of illicit substances and the law comes down on those who deal in them. Those who die pass anonymously from this planet and remain only a statistic—their lives and deaths forgotten. When someone famous dies from drug overdoses or drug use, they make the headlines and the stories reignite and the lawmakers and media get their pens ready to wield their power.
.
But WHEN will the media and our governments pick up on the fact that we have had a series of very famous people who die from the use of the supposed “good drugs”...the pharmaceutical sweets dispensed freely by the medical profession all across the planet. Isn’t it time we questioned what the hell is going on with the drug companies, the medical profession AND the weak governments that bow down and make laws that allow them to have such power. Isn’t it time we took control over what gets put into our bodies? Isn’t it time we took a look at just which drugs are doing more harm to our bodies, insidiously sitting in our bathroom cupboards and slowly taking their toll on humanity while the “legal” drug dealers get fat and rich?????
Heath died, Elvis died, Michael died, just to name a few…....isn’t it about time to ask REAL questions?

But What I Am Wondering…...For Years He Was Prosicuted…Now That He Has Passed. He Is Praised And Being Honored….I Loved His Work! Just Wondering About That.
Wendy Slee replied
there has been a major turnaround by the media, but of course, they will run with whatever sells their pages…... sad…... watch them switch sides whenever it suits them….
thanks for sharing…..
Enivea
Yes, of course it is time Wendy, way overdue. However, just who is willing to listen to the answers?
Wendy Slee replied
most people won’t even ask the questions, let alone wait for the answers…... sad, very sad, isn’t it….?
JennyDean
you wouldn’t believe the extent of all this stuff in a tiny country town Wendy! I see lots and lots of lives ruined from prescription drugs in my profession!
Wendy Slee replied
it is very frightening…..these deaths of public people are like a big warning flag to us all….. wonder when the powers that be will realize their dirty games are now public…..... and killing people….
tkrosevear
The stats for hospital/doctor mistakes are the equivalent of a 747 plane crash every single day…makes you wonder why we don’t question these things more??
Wendy Slee replied
I know…..I am so sick of the lies and deceit in the name of feathering nests…...for the fat cats…... is there anyone in it to seek healing for those who are ill?
H M Bascom
The doctors who peddle these drugs should be held to account as well. :-(
Wendy Slee replied
agree completely….there is so much more to this than meets the eye and its all corrupt…..... I wonder what percentage of these “professionals” actually have the wellbeing of their fellow humans uppermost in their priorities…...
Lea Williams
Very true but as you said, who will listen anyway. Sometimes, it just needs someone “famous” to die to bring this issue to “attention”. Maybe one day, something will be done. Here’s hoping. :-)
Wendy Slee replied
that was my main thought today…..these “famous” people are dying from legal drugs, and the flag is up…..isn’t it time we stop and have a good look at the dangers of what the drug companies promote as safe and good for us?
thanks Lea
Danielle Knight
you have written my thoughts exactly today Wendy, It really leaves me gog smacked, I agree with helen, the doctors need to be held accountable. It is a real concern. How many times does it have to happen before something is done. Too many greedy people in this world unfortunately. Sad..
Wendy Slee replied
very sad….....
It is not often I get so riled that I speak out publicly, but today…... well….
phew! and this is just the tip of the iceberg….
I hear there is talk to make it compulsory to vaccinate all aussies for swine flu…... oh puhleeeze!
Phil Threlfall
Well said Wendy.
Wendy Slee replied
thanks Phil….... x

greed is the name of the game, you have the money to buy, you can get.
when elvis died, they did attempt to go after his personal doctor, if im not mistaken he gradually lost his licence to practice and subscribe medicine, unfortunately tho elvis was dead, the damage was done.
it should also weigh in on the person taking the drugs, its called self will.
i know elvis and michael couldnt have normal lives we are accustomed to
maybe it should start w/ the media, then it will gradually work it’s way to the famous.
if the media just leaves them alone, then the famous wont have to take uppers to stay up at night, and then downers to sleep during the day.
either way, its a very sad ending
Wendy Slee replied
sad, yes very sad….. and just a very big warning to us all about what we have in our cupboards at the direction of our doctors…....

I could not give a F%%@#$ about all these people dying.
It has got to come to each and every one of us eventually.
Why doesn’t the media promote the death of this world we are living in, a bit more seriously ??
Or get more serious about doing the right things to save the future for people who are not going to waste there lives with drugs, pedifilia, or suffocate with placing bags over there heads, to get an erotic buzz.
For gods sake, I just hope that someday we look at ourselves and really feel sorry for these people.
Performers like Olivier Newton John are the ones we should be praising, for they are doing something serious with there money and there lives.
Wake up world… Jackson and Presley are dead. They brought it on themselves….
Let them rest in peace.
I am so sick of conspiricy theories.???
.
LONG LIVE THE LIVING WHO ARE TRYING.
Wendy Slee replied
Larry……. you are the second person today who attacked me for being a conspiracy theorist, and that doesn’t bother me at all. I have my opinion and you are welcome to yours. I just think the warning signs are there for us all….pay attention to what the doctors and drug companies are handing out to us liberally for “OUR” wellbeing and question whose wellbeing it really is for. Most drugs that get prescribed to everyday folk are basically poisons to the human body…..very few are better off taking them. Except those who make money from them. It is about trust. We trust these “professionals” but maybe we should question that trust a little more…….

In the papers today Wendy there is a really guesome image of MJ’S legs where the so called DR gave him an IV of painkillers into his leg.
Michael fell asleep and when he woke up went to the bathroom and obviously ripped the IV out of his leg..and the drugs that were supposed to be given intraveniously went onto the skin and ate away the flesh.!
MJ and Elvis died prematurely throught these drugs, but the DR’s who leech offf the famous want striking off.
I had reason to attend the Docs just today and he wanted to give me medication for an allergy because I have been bitten on my eye by a mozzy or gnat 4 nights ago and I am looking particularly attractive..lol.
The beauty of this saga is that if I hadn’t told my Doc that I am not allowed to take this medicine because of a medical condition and I was naive,I could have taken the prescription to the pharmacy and heaven knows what effect that would have had on me!
They deal out pills like sweets and where my sister lives, presidence of getting a script filled is taken over by serving Drug Addicts first with their Methadone..!
Dr’s are quacks in my opinion and if I never see them again in my life I will die a happy soul.
Makes great reading Wendy..so sad that we lose real talent from such drugs and lack of real treatment.

Wendy Slee replied
thank you so much for sharing and commenting Cynthia….over the years I have watched them write out the scripts…”here, have this, try that” etc etc.
If you seriously read what is in most of these medications and the side effects they have on the body, you really have to question if there is ever going to be any drug company genuinely seeking ways to heal illness or whether they are just there to perpetuate it.

Hugs to you too dear Leise…..
as you can see, got riled today…..seems to be an ongoing issue in my lifetime…..people hurt by vaccinations, drugs…well you know, not ME personally, but people around me…... I think that everyone needs to question and demand real answers….
Hope you are doing fine…... and yes, I know….

I always read the list and hence I seldom take anything..I rely on my body to fight Wendy.
Wish I had shares in these drug manufactures sometimes..lol.

Wendy Slee replied
I hear you…..
and totally agree.
When we listen to our own bodies, truly listen, we do get answers….

So true Wendy, it really is a symptom of the “instant gratification” society that we now live in. Just buy the promises and pop them down the throat and everything will be better. It’s all pretty sad ;-(
Wendy Slee replied
Hi Matt, I seem to be caught up in these issues this lifetime…...I have a daughter who got brain damage from her immunisations as a baby (22 years ago when i was much more naive and trusting)....and now having an illness of my own, being torn between wanting pain relief, and knowing, truly knowing, that “they” can’t/won’t help me, only I can find the source of my illness and therefor my healing…. And the simple truth is, so long as I don’t take the prescribed drugs, I am stronger and healthier and a lot closer to finding my own solutions! I guess the deaths of several high profile people due to legal drugs has been a real eye opener, and definitely makes it seem like it’s about time the questions get asked! cheers…
frogster
Very true words my friend
Wendy Slee replied
thanks for having a read Larry, guess the time has come for questions to be asked…..
cheers
Leise K
Cynthia is onto it!!!!
I have been on bandaid medication for months – ney years…and it just masks the issues…those pharmaceutical companies don’t give a toss about ME…just the $2 a day I swallow. Multiply that by a few million in this country alone…not to mention the old folks who take upwards of ten or twenty different pills…
...my old mum is one of them!
Ah spinning into a yarn lovie…bloody black fella I be! LOL
Love ya and big hugs.
Lxxxx
Wendy Slee replied
you summed up MY argument in your “yarn” my friend….exactly!!

PS
I knew a beautiful 19 year old many years ago…gosh she would be almost 30 now…she and her boyfriend found some out of date prescription drugs in a blue waste bin behind a chemist one evening at a place called Thirroul…they stupidly went home and in their mis-informed youth took a variety of them.
He woke up the next day…she was dead. Her head swollen twice the size.
Needless to say the pharmacist was the culprit really.
She was such a beautiful girl…just fucking stupid and in the wrong place at the wrong time to find the SHITE openly left for someone to find.
And Larry…it’ll be you one day too…so WAKE UP!
Wendy Slee replied
these tragic tales are everywhere….
I just read the latest info on a drug I have been given…..(Definitely NOT taking…I burned them).....it contains sodium laurel sulphate. Even the kdis get taught not to use skin care products with this in it, or wash our skin or hair with anything containing this poison, and the doctors/drug companies are giving it to me to EAT?????
Anyway, I am glad you know what I am on about…thanks for your support ,,,,,,
(I am still having a good chuckle over the blackfella comment….)
Leise K
That’s me lovie…good for a yarn over a cuppa…and really good for a laugh! ☺
Hugs…I need one right about now :)

I feel this Wendy ~ not had much time to give consideration to write here ~ and not to repeat what so many others have already given voice and echoed your thoughts. My way and what I feel is needed with so many others ~ is to take on the responsibility of our own health & well being. It’s a must ~ so many docs and specialists now ~ no one is taking ownership of our whole health. We need to be an advocate for ourselves and our loved ones. We cannot rely on the doctor knowing best. We need to question, ask to be educated and educated ourselves (the internet is a huge gift this way) and not just sit back and trust. I do this for myself, my family, friends, because it’s important.
I hope this makes sense, as even now I’m on the fly – but it is one thing I think has been an influence on people who have acquired alot of wealth – they abdicate their responsibility to themselves and give too much power to others to care for them. xx
Wendy Slee replied
You are so right Linda. This is exactly how I feel. The choice is ours, it should ALWAYS be ours. I get very nervous when there is talk of governments taking control of the natural and alternative health therapies….. or having vaccinations made compulsory. The simple truth is, we all need to cultivate and awareness so we can “listen” to our bodies…..then andonly then will we know what is good for us and what is not. thanks for your thoughtful and empowering words….xxx

There is good and evil around everywhere and I believe without that we would have less freedom to choose right or wrong, which to me might not be such a good thing. Doctors are pressured from thier patients, drug companys, media, governments, etc. Is it any wonder the number of doctors commiting suicide these days? I have difficulty putting too much blame on doctors.
Wendy Slee replied
thanks for those heartfelt thoughts…and yes I do agree with you. It is not the human beings (doctors) who choose to enter the medical professional with the hope they CAN make a difference….it is, rather, the system of greed that envelops any given profession and robs such good people of their true intent.
