First Meeting
“Crash” the two month old pup, meets his first horse, who still looks huge to him, even though she is only a 25” filly “Pink!”
This image was taken last year…..sadly, Pink died in a tragic accident this week (July 09), so it is with great sadness that I now look back on her short, sweet life and share these images with you

They are both gorgeous!! Great capture….although knowing that is how my horse sometimes looks at my dog before she goes after him, I don’t trust that look:)...she never hurts him but she does put the fear of God in him…or is that fear of horse-ha

thanks so much Adrian, it was a real photo moment as the dog was terrified and I got so many classic shots of his face expressing that “help me” or “holy sh**!” look…....especially when the other horses gathered around him too….

An experience I am yet to put my dogs through – other dogs sure I can handle that even if they can’t but a great big animal like a horse? I’d be scared!!! lol
The dog would come off the worst with one kick – but then one bite could render a horse permanent damage too!
So very very sad to hear of your loss of this gorgeous little ranga pony!

Hey you, thanks so much for your lovely comment….. yes I was watching over the puppy very closely….. but I knew the horses would not hurt him, they were just curious…..
I have to say, the filly here had beautiful legs, but I caught this shot just as she was about to turn, so her front leg looks a bit deformed!

thanks so much Brenda, yes, we sure do love our “fur babies”....lol “Pink” was the last foal I bred here (I still have both parents but they are so old now….and when they pass on, that will be the end of it for me….... :-( )
The filly did have great legs, but i caught her here as she was about to turn, and so her front legs look a little twisted…...
