once again Wendy ~ you’ve blown me away with another brilliant piece ~ I could feel the life of these dark and light sentinels shimmer alive under the glow of the moon and the sway of the tide ~ exquisite art ~ speaks so well to your writing…which is what I hope is published and hanging as well for your exhibit. both are stand alone works and yet together ~ more so.

in this never ending journey ~ it is artists and souls like you ~ that continue to shine the light of wisdom and truth ~ always with heart ~ that I have come to treasure more than you know…xx

I keep coming back and just staring at this magnificent image, and the deep and thought provoking narrative which accompanies it. Scrolling through the comments above, I saw I had once said this deserves a thoughtful analysis…. And every time I visit this, I attempt one. And fail. I fail perhaps because something inside me is arrogant, wants to “see” beyond what has been said. But after looking at it this last time, it occurred to me this is all wrong. The only significance my comment should have is to tell you how very very much I love this image. And so I put my vanity aside, and turn the spotlight back where it belongs – away from the triviality of my comment to the image itself. Inspired, stunning, defying facile analysis. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I don’t think I’ll ever really forget it.

There is so much to think about in this piece and with your truly beautiful words….perhaps we try too hard?? Are we more, in the natural state, than what we idealistically “see” for ourselves Is the path we take really the one that would bring us to where we want to be…or have we missed the turn.
Wonderful to think about…. it just makes one feel that it’s all possible…....
