ooh, so beautiful. You walk the street, on the way to the next location, you see the sun and the palm tree. You know you’ve found it!
Lara and I had gone location scouting on the weekend, taken beautiful photos. But a new day, different time and different model-sometimes you can’t repeat the magic. I knew it on the way to meet them. Lucky we didn’t waste time trying to.
the light at the Intercontinenetal was not there, too dark. We crossed to the Botanic Gardens, but here the light was too bright. I was beside myself, actually (see ‘we’re doomed, there will be no good photos, we’re wasting our time’).
The sun set and, of course, we then had that beautiful soft light filling the air. We had to move quickly. Dear Larn took it all very well to have a stranger tell her what to do>”hold that, while I take (50) photos from different angles”. Most definitely worth it!
