bird in paradise
been reading about tribal child raising and the benefits, and we know I like birds…
I began this art as abstract patterns, bubbles of pattern that transformed when I realised by putting a ‘fork in the road’ to the concentric circles, that I created an eye and beak. Before that, it could’ve been shown either way up.
also, it transformed from earthy brown colours, to a colourful bird.
‘Is it art? ‘my teacher used to always question. He’s not here now. He’s just asking the question still! in my head!
I like it-it’s bright, colouful and alive.

there is something about this that makes me feel happy. Isn’t art meant to evoke an emotion? Well you’ve done, so I would say this is art. I feel good and spirited and looking at this. I am ready to travel to Brazil and dance on the beach after looking at this. I like that it is not too overwhelming, you have a good eye for balance.

Wonderful use of colors and patterns. There is a sense of lightness and happiness that is somehow transmitted to the viewer. There is sense of moving and flying yet the subject is constantly connected with the viewer ( it does not matter at which angle you will look at this artwork the eye will always follow you). This is an instant favorite for me.
