The Undertow

The Undertow

Turrimetta Beach on Sydney’s north shore. The sunrise had sone its thing and the cloud had put a thin layer of puffy clouds in the way of it making a soft light so I put the grad ND and ND8 silters on and stalked the waves. The beach at this point had flat rocks just under the sand so my tripod could hold on to something solid.I think about 3 second exposure.

Nice shot David ! This location looks to be quite spectacular and you have done it justice here.

  • David Haworth replied

Turrimetta beach is a honey pot to photogaphers. The morning me and Malcolm were there there were 5 others several who had diven from the other side of Sydney like us!
