I love this one aswell, you have taken some great butterfly shots,looks like you’ve been having a fun time too… I like the way you got the tongue whilst it was unrolled & out like that!, It’s got funny looking eyes,a bit dozy looking! like you said, they were drunk on sunshine!, Fantastic composition, I also love that lemon yellow with the green, it’s set off brilliantly by the pink flowers. ; ) Gorgeous shot Suni, xx.

I really like the lighting here, as it makes his wings glow. You’re so right that this species doesn’t like to hold still. The gulf fritillaries and some of the swallowtails are pretty easy, but the sulfurs are really difficult. You really did well to capture this guy, and what a beautiful portrait it is!
