The Fine art shows the Statues of the four main universal gods Ra, Amun, Ptah and Ramses II to whom the temple is dedicated. These statues are situated inside 200 feet into the temple. The orientation of the temple lay out is very special in such a manner that the rays of the rising Sun would light up the statues of these four Gods twice a year . The Solstice’s occurrence commemorates the Ramsees II’ ascension to the throne 22nd February and his birth date which is 22 October.
