I have always painted, drawn, sketched, made sculptures out of anything since i can remember! i love to doodle and often use these ’ scribbles’ in my work. i am very motivated by shape and how things link through creating more. i love colour though went through my black and white period some years ago. People say my work is abstract, aboringinal, 60’s…. and you can see faces and objects within the work. it’s very detailed and takes ages and always as big as a canvas i can fit onto the wall – size is essential for my work. i love the water and find that the movement and the bubbles created whilst diving are often featured in my work.
I ‘m a teacher who would love to paint more, but also enjoy my job and so paint when i can.
