Pen and ink on 8 × 10 sketchbook paper
Words that come to mind when describing this piece are:
Ribbons, holes, detailed, condensed space, a mask, African tribal, void, emotive, movement, turmoil, wrapped, hidden in plain sight.
What I see when I look at this piece: In this abstract black and white line drawing there aren’t just ribbons and circles with crosshatching, there is also a tribal face to the far right corner of the painting. Please see the last photo in the following link to clearly see the mask. Frame vertically or horizontally.
Size and such: “Warrior’s Call” is raw art created in black ink on white sketchbook paper measuring 8 × 10 inches. It is signed and dated on the back.
