Confessions of an Artist

Its entirely possible that I’m obsessed with art and photoshop filters. Last night’s dream was entirely in paint dry rag. I’m not making this up. I’m serious, the entire dream was in a photoshop filter.

I wish I could have taken lucid dreaming for a test drive so I could adjust contrast and tones. I would have changed my blue dress to red and added a different sky. I didn’t do that cause at this point I’ve only got control of filters.

Lord have mercy. I think I’m obsessed with art and photoshop.

Don’t feel bad, I dreamt about redbubble all night… adding, commenting, viewing art… It was just like I was awake. I have been feeling obsessive about art and redbubble even before this, but now I can’t deny it. At least some obsessions are good ones. :)

I have dreams as though they are movies. Edited, camera movement, colour graded and even sometime with a soundtrack.

Oh my gosh, I do too.

I have dreams with movie stars and singers in them. The last one I had Barbara Streisand wanted a friend of mine to make her a handmade art roll up.

I had a dream recently with song the song Lentil sung by SIA

if you skip to 2:22 in the stream that’s the part that played loudest in my dream.

and about a month or so ago I had a dream where Shakira sang the beautiful song Te Necesito.

It’s not uncommon at all for me to have songs in my dreams. It’s cool to know others have even soundtracks. I think that’s cool.
