Longing Flower
The original painting had blue tears streaming. It came off too sad. I wanted a woman with full lips grasping a flower while showing a hint of desire and longing but I didn’t want depressing. I removed the crock tears, elongated the face and cut back on a few colours. In my normal style the colours are full, vibrant and saturated.
