Dreamscape

F. Magdalene Austin

Dreamscape

A child stands in the landscape of her imagination. It is her dreamscape. Imagination, it is a child’s best friend. It should be nurtured and grown, cultivated and set free.

what can you say but,all of your art has a,sweetness, about it! you much be at peace with this ole world. god bless you ,for being able to do that.! hey! winter is almost past? have a good day and thanks for your thoughtful, insights on the art piece you spoke of,pax

I find peace wherever I can but this old world offers very little so I spend much time seeking and little time finding. Since I find little peace in this world what is left for me to do but create it in art?

Thank you for all of your comments today. They are much appreciated.
    until again,
    Austin

your paintings are lovely :) I love your figurative work. It gives hope for the life as baterflies are around. you succesfully combine crisp on the line between light and dark and still remember about the power of blurrideness

I love this. I used to be captivated by the butterflies on the Buddelia (Butterfly Bush) in the garden as a child. I even used to feed them with honey and a pin! This has a timeless feel of childhood to it…you have some lovely work in your portfolio. ~ Anni :)
