Restless Dreamer
She is as vivid in person as she is on the screen.
Restless Dreamer was inspired by my own night time images which are full of symbolism, texture and color. Images in my dreams usually shape shift or blend and often there is an image within an image. Much like in the painting there are layers upon layers of blends and sharp contrasts.
In this particular painting I think I most enjoyed creating her hair to flow into the form of a face.
