This indeed was a delight to see heading down a country road in the Rockton ON area. Actually, I passed this enroute to a car show, but made no bones of returning here afterwards. I have never seen a flower farm before, so this was quite a treat for me to kill time with my cameras. This image was taken with my Nikon D80 and 18-55mm DX lens. Diffused appearance is courtesy of reducing the clarity in Nikon’s Camera Raw software. Rockton is Hamilton’s neighbour to the west, in Canada.

Delightful indeed! The very essence of late summer/early fall. Beautifully done, Ron.

Certainly an eye catching sight Ron. Looks like this may be a potpourri garden…Jules

  • Thank you Julie. You might be right about the potpourri. There were a few varieties of flowers in there, and just found out that Coxcombs are one of them. ♥Ron♥

WOweee Ron!!!! Love, love the cox combs, with the other flowers mixed in!! WOW Again! WHAT A SCENE!!! Your processing amazes me, stunning, its as real as if I were standing here…wish I had of been, but don’t think I could do the justice to it as you did here….So beautiful!! Brilliant realistic processing!! WOW! I LOL!! HUGZZZZ….ps I liked this on FaceBook…let me know if you would rather I remove it , K? Nice work my friend! It rates right up there, for me.

  • A gazillion thanks Carolyn for your generous compliments, your fave, and for providing this image with its first feature…very much appreciated. It would’ve been great if you WERE standing there with me. Oh yeah, thank you too for ID’ing the flowers for me. Not that I know what the others are, but I was really curious about the Coxcombs, as I have other images of them. About Facebook, I don’t mind as long as it’s not in Public mode, as there’s a lot of thieves out there. I really appreciate your support, just don’t want anyone stealing it and then claiming it as their own. Thanks SO much for all the praise and flattery. You’re a real sweetheart. HUGZZZ & XXXXX, ♥Ron♥
