Caught this ‘57 Dodge Regent at a Cruise Night last summer at one of Hamilton ON CANADA’s favourite summer spots…Hutch’s On The Beach. To me, it sure had an impressive back end; courtesy of the fins. Taken with my Nikon D50 and 18-55mm DX lens.

This is so great, excellent work, this capture, wow, wonderful, love this
You ARE a sweetheart Norma and am so glad to have met your acquaintance. I was going to post one more image, but as I couldn’t decide which one, I decided I’ll close up as it’s quite late here. Kind thanks for your generous compliment & fave. Will catch you again soon. XO, Ron
Great shot Ron, I love old cars..they are just so beautifully designed..cars now are just boring looking..instant fave on this beauty.
Thanks a bunch Kim for the splendid compliments and fave. I feel the same way, which is why I really enjoy attending classic/vintage car shows and of course feeding the gems to my cameras, as they find them a delicacy. :))
Great shot Ron. I love the tail Fins as well. An instant fave! :>)) Leslie
Thanks bunches Leslie for the compliments & fave. Very much appreciated. Funny how many auto makers suddenly designed fins for 1957. It was the reverse of the “now you see them, now you don’t” slogan.
Those wings look incredible when we see cars like this nowadays Ron, makes a great photo subject though, well seen and captured,Regards, Rod.
Thanks a bundle Rod for your kind compliment. Yeah, these gems sure look amazing up against newer cars…which makes me wonder which cars today would be considered classics years from now. Hope all is well with you. Regards, Ron
Beautiful simple clean lines, wonderfully captured Ron!
Thanks a mint buddy for your well appreciated compliments.
A rear-end for the ages. Great shot, Ron.
Now THAT’S a unique comment Sheila, and leave it to you to come up with it. LOL That’s one I’ll have to remember and won’t necessarily pertain to cars. ROTFL. Oh yeah, thanks for the kudo. :)
Marvellous capture Ron,
Love these classic cars with the bat-wings:-)
Thanks so much Don for your well appreciated compliments. Those fins sure stirred up attention when they first appeared on cars. Being 1957, I was only 9, but remember guys admiring the new cars more than usual.
Neat one Ron, love the protruding back fins, which was stylish in those days, I actually owned one back then, mine was a red and black two tone.
Congratulations!!! You are a TOP TEN winner in the Tail lights – 1950s, 1960s, 1970s vehicles challenge in the 5-6-7 Autos, Trucks and Motorcycles group.
