Previously featured in the Ontario group.

This Daffodil looked to be so forlorn and bereft, being apart from the rest of the patch. I augmented the despondency by darkening the background.

Capture with my Nikon D80 and 70-300mm ED Nikkor lens in Hamilton ON’s RBG gardens in Canada.

This is a gorgeous shot Ron, the daffs are only just budding in my garden, they are very late this year, take care, hugs Ann xox

  • Thank you so kindly Ann for your generous compliment and fave. Very grateful Sweety. So whose daffs will be the first to bloom; Chester’s or Hamilton’s. :) Warm hugs & XXXX, Ron

It does look forlorn, but if we tell it how beautiful it is in its despondency, it’s bound to cheer up. Nicely done, Ron.

  • Thanks a bundle Sheila. This “dil’ really caught my attention and I loved the spotlit lighting on it. I guess it didn’t like being left “in the dark”. :) All the best, Ron

  • Kind thanks for the compliment Kim. This is from last year as ours have yet to start this year, but given our recent stretch of mild temps, maybe soon. Warm wishes, Ron
