I thought this stormy sky suited this skeletal tree perfectly and couldn’t pass up this opportunity to capture this eerie landscape in the Stoney Creek ON CANADA vicinity. Stoney Creek is next to Hamilton, to the east.

Captured with a Nikon D50 and 18-55mm DX lens.

I would expect bats to come flying out of this tree. Spooky effect here Ron. Good one mate X

  • Funny thing about this tree Janine, it used to be dead…and now it sprouts leaves. Go figure. Anyway, thank you for the compliment dear. XX, Ron

    Stunning capture Ron!!

  • Thank you so kindly dear Cheryl. Very much appreciated as always. This was the scenario I had waited for ever since I first saw this tree, which was dead then, but now sports leaves. XOXO, Ron

Really great shot Ron! Love that tree.

  • Thanks kindly Carmen. That tree certainly had character…when it was dead, but it isn’t anymore. Figure that one out. Sure threw me for a loop when I saw leaves on it the next season after being bare for a couple of years. Hugs, Ron
