I thought a mild zooming would help convey the euphoric sense of all these colours sharing the same garden bed.

This was captured with a Nikon D50 & 18-55mm DX lens. I used a slow enough shutter speed to facilitate the zooming.

This garden is one of RBG’s many in Hamilton ON CANADA.

Very cool…I love this effect…I’ve tried it, but haven’t gotten the hang of it yet!! LOL :)

  • Thanks bunches Donna. Just use a slow enough shutter speed that will give you time to zoom. I find with digital, shorter zooms work better. Film was more liberal. Warm wishes, Ron.

Thanks so much Cheryl. Camera techniques are fun to play with. The trick is using a slow enough shutter for the right effect.

Love the zooming effect on these colourful tulips Ron, it’s a technique that not used often enough these days, well done,
    Regards, Rod.
