I could not believe my eyes when I saw this visual feast. I was so enamored with it, it took me a few minutes before I could commence photographing the scene. This image was achieved with a few multiple exposures of varying focus degrees with my Nikon 801, a film camera I used then; hence the slight radiating appearance. I’m still using the 70-300mm ED Nikkor lens I used then.

This pastoral setting was found near Orangeville ON, CANADA

Great shot Ron, love the colours.

  • Thanks kindly Steve. This field was a sight to behold. I’ve been meaning to return to this place the same time each year, but it hasn’t happened yet. :-(( Maybe this year. Take care, Ron.

This is great Ron, very peaceful and dreamy looking.

  • Thanks bunches Kim. Though the image could’ve been saturated more, I wanted to keep it light and somewhat pastelly to provide a painterly appearance. Best wishes, Ron.

This is absolutely beautiful. It looks like a pastel painting. Lovely colors and scene.

  • Thank you kindly Jane. I used to have a framed print of this and at mixed media exhibits, was often mistaken for a painting. As it was sold at an art auction, I’ll have to get another print made. The original print was made from a slide. I’ll have to go the digital route now. Take care & regards, Ron.

    So creative, I love it……..beautiful blend of colours and tones…instant fav….anna : )

  • Thank you kindly for the compliment AND for the fave Anna. It’s much appreciated. Slides were an ideal medium for these kind of images. With Digital, I’d need the help of Photoshop for comparable results. Regards from Ron.
