This unit was built in 1923 and served in Southwestern Ontario on Canada’s shortest shortline until 1964 hauling freight. It was then that it fell into disrepair and pulled out of sevice. Since, it has been repaired off & on and serving as a tourist train when operating. Latest word as of October ‘09 is that it’s expected to be running again this spring. It’s now Winter of 2012, and STILL not running.
NOTE: Began operating again in 2012 but never got over to capture it’s renewed life.
My Nikon D50 with an18-55mm DX lens captured this oldie in Waterloo ON Canada.
