Pastoral Reverie

Pastoral Reverie

I could not believe my eyes when I saw this visual feast. I was so enamored with it, it took me a few minutes before I could commence photographing the scene. This image was achieved with a few multiple exposures of varying focus degrees with my Nikon 801, a film camera I used then; hence the slight radiating appearance.

This pastoral setting was found near Orangville ON.

Pastoral Reverie belongs to the following groups:

Landscape and Abstract Photography, Made By Nature - {2 a day} - {challenge theme only!}, Nature's Wonders, Rural Around The Globe and The true beauty Available for sale as

Thanks kindly Steve. This field was a sight to behold. I’ve been meaning to return to this place the same time each year, but it hasn’t happened yet. :-(( Maybe this year. Take care, Ron.

This is great Ron, very peaceful and dreamy looking.

  • sundawg7 replied

Thanks bunches Kim. Though the image could’ve been saturated more, I wanted to keep it light and somewhat pastelly to provide a painterly appearance. Best wishes, Ron.

This is absolutely beautiful. It looks like a pastel painting. Lovely colors and scene.

  • sundawg7 replied

Thank you kindly Jane. I used to have a framed print of this and at mixed media exhibits, was often mistaken for a painting. As it was sold at an art auction, I’ll have to get another print made. The original print was made from a slide. I’ll have to go the digital route now. Take care & regards, Ron.
