Artist's Description

A handsome Georgian clapboard building, The Old Manse was built in 1770. The first shots of the Revolutionary War were fired nearby and, less than a century later, Emerson, Hawthorne, and Thoreau spawned a revolution in American philosophy from here.
The Old Manse boathouse was built in 1890 on the bank of the Concord River in Concord, Massachusetts. Is that a little ghost in the wood grain under the rusty hinge?

Canon EOS REBEL T1i, Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 18-55mm.
Adjusted in Corel Paint Shop Pro.
Location: Concord, Massachusetts (USA).
