This view is from north of Cambridge Street looking south into the beautiful Beacon Hill section of Boston. This architecturally significant neighborhood includes buildings designed by Charles Bulfinch, and has been home to many famous people, including Louisa May Alcott, Robert Frost and John Hancock.

Perfect clarity and composition! I don’t often add urban views to my Favourites, but will be hitting that red star button for this one!

  • It’s a new subject for me too, but it was an opportunity not to be passed up, and I was pleased to see how it turned out. Thank you very much for your kind words and for the fave! ♥

Interesting image. Always wanted to visit Boston but have never made it. We have planned several trips and they have all fallen through. Lovely photo!

  • The driving is terrible (confusing one-way streets, traffic, detours and crowds of students walking) but if you ever need medical attention Mass General was voted #1 in USA last fall (2012). Thanks for your comment! ☺♥
